Would really like to get my hands on the rest of the series. Since WB most likely is not going to continue the releases, here's hoping that Shout Factory would pick up the rights. |

You don't know how many Drew Carey fans are dying to see this. And if possible, for the What's Wrong with this Episode? series, can you add an option to view the episode in its original form without the arrows? It's kinda fun to watch and spot the mistakes at the same time. |

I talked to him in 2007 and told him that, although I liked his contributions to the retrospective featurette on the Season 1 set, I was disappointed that there weren't any commentaries. He said that he didn't like talking about himself, then went on to say, "It's part of my past now, and I didn't even want to do what I did (for the set), and I'm never going to do it again. But Bruce Helford said, 'It's for the fans,' so I went, 'Oh, all right.' But I don't know why. I thought Bruce was going to do commentary, so I don't know why he didn't. Nobody gives a [shiite], that's why."
I told him that wasn't true, and he thanked me, but it was pretty clear that his position on the matter was steadfast.

Member since: 7/20/2011 | | RE: The Drew Carey Show | | Warner Bros. said that the reason more releases of The Drew Carey Show haven't been released isn't because of sales, but rather, the music. I don't know what to think. Is it the many theme songs used for the series, or the music itself used in montages in the series? I tend to think that it's the former; I don't recall the show using many songs in the episodes themselves. I wish Shout! could obtain the rights to this series, but music is going to be the issue for any release, and Brian has said that sometimes it is forbade to change/eliminate the music. Still, this show was a riot; I think Mimi, the co-worker from hell, is the main reason the show is so popular. Katy Kinney would probably do some special features if approached. Seasons 2-9... maybe one day! |
