Popples, My Pet Monster, Teen Wolf and more...
There's a lot of good toons I'd love to see on DVD:

- Popples: would be cool, to see the first season paired up with the live action tv special.

- My Pet Monster: wow, both the cartoon and the live action movie would be cool.

- Teen Wolf: LOL! The intro was hilarious!!

- Visionaries: I always loved this cartoon!

- Bionic Six: Though I wouldn't hold my breath, considering who owns it(NBC/Universal, I believe).

- Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics: Same as Bionic Six, would love it, but Saban owns it(I believe).

My Pet Monster was released in a Complete Series set in Canada (which is also Region 1, NTSC, same as the U.S.) in October, 2008.  Looks like it's out of print now, but you might still be able to find it floating around out there.

Visionaries really NEEDS to come out on DVD over here.  That and Inhumanoids.  I love 'em so much I imported the Region 2 releases a while back...

I've heard that Inhumanoids has been released under Rhino a few years back. They seem to sell the DVD on Amazon(vol one's in stock, vol 2 is out of print/stock) Not sure how many episodes, though. A complete series release would be great, though.

Another I'd like to see on DVD would be The New Archies. I think DiC owns the rights to that one.

I know I listed Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics, and that considering Saban owns the rights, it might be far-fetched to see a DVD release. Though, nonetheless, it would be cool to have the full uncut episodes(all of the ones released in America) in a collection. I say "uncut" because when they aired the cartoons on Nickelodeon in the late 80s/early 90s(I believe), they completely censored a lot of the harsher story bits. If you know Grimm fairy tales, not all are bright and sunshine happy endings. Particularly one called "The Coat of Many Colours". When I first seen it on Nick, the opening told the story about a princess who was happy in her kingdom, and she loved her father dearly until rebels took the kingdom, burned the castle to the ground and her father(and everybody else she loved) died as she, the lone survivor, escaped harm. That seems pretty sad, but a few years later(must've been around 1996), sometime before my local Thrifty's became a Rite Aid. They were have a sale of VHS tapes and I managed to snag(to my surprise) a lot of Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics for a very cheap prince(dollar each tape). The tapes were put out by Starmaker. One, in particular, was "Coat of Many Colours", but this version was more true to the actual fairy tale. The intro didn't candy coat the situation and make it seem like the princess had the fantasy life that was taken from her by rebels. She was the only daughter of the king and before the queen could bare him a male heir, she dies, so the King tries to MARRY HIS DAUGHTER in hopes that she'll produce him an heir. Holy incest! That was the reason she escaped her kingdom(not because of the rebels). It kinda makes me wonder how some of the others been censored.

Rhino released two volumes of Inhumanoids on DVD, comprising the first 9 episodes.  The thing that irked fans was that all 9 of those episodes had been available for years on VHS, and we were al really wanting the last 4 episodes to finish the set.  But the third anf final volume was never produced.  If you check the reviews of the Volume 2 DVD on amazon, I actually wrote a lengthy blurb about Rhino's handling of that series and Sunbow shows in general a while back.

Here ya go:

http://www.amazon.com/Inhumanoids-Vols-Stanley-Ralph-Ross/dp/B00005NRNR/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1245655958&sr=1-2

Mine is the one written by "Sean," which should be at the top of the list.  2 stars from me, man I was generous.  I think I explain why in the review...

So far the only way to get the complete series on DVD is to get the Region 2 release (the complete series was put out as a 2-disc set).  Ditto Visionaries, whihc Rhino never even bothered with.  Two of the few instances where I imported DVDs to have those two shows in my collection, since I just got tired of waiting for them to show up in Region 1...
