Journeyman
I know Shout Factory is soon going to be releasing Middleman on DVD, a fairly recent show. I'm sure sales for it will do quite nicely. Another recent show I think would be perfect for Shout Factory is Journeyman. It aired on NBC (Although 20th Century FOX does own the rights) and the most likely reason it hasn't come out yet is because of all the music in it.

I know Shout Factory has done well with series that used lots of music before (Freaks and Geeks being the best example) and this series is even shorter than that (13 episodes) so I think it would be very doable. I know their are quite a number of fans out there (Their was a large campaign to save the show) so I know many would buy it.

Thanks for taking a look at this.

Kevin Mckidd is a good actor I have never seen the show when it was on though.

It was quite an excellent show and I would very much recommend checking it out, especially if Shout gives it a release.

RE: Journeyman
I registered just to post about a different show, but I have to say that Journeyman is just about my all-time favourite show.

So do it, Shout! Aww, go on :)

I'm always amazed when a network sinks money into a Sci-Fi show and then doesn't release it on DVD - the costs of producing and releasing a DVD are nothing compared to the budget of the show... So it strikes me as a good way to recoup some of that revenue. No?

But back on topic - if anyone here hasn't seen Journeyman, I urge you to check it out. It's like a 21st century version of Quantum Leap, and has some of the best acting around, thanks primarily to the awesome Kevin McKidd.

I'd buy Journeyman if it came out on DVD. I loved that show and have to say it ended well before it should have.

RE: Journeyman
Odd, a lot of one season shows these days are being released directly, for example FlashForward, Defying Gravity, but this gem sadly seems to be forgotten.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy Fan: Babylon 5; ST DS9; The Pretender; Highlander the series, Stargate; Jake 2.0; Battlestar Galactica;Firefly; ST Enterprise; Angel; The X-Files; Doctor Who; Torchwood and on and on...

Not intending to run around resurrecting threads, but was pleasantly surprised to see a hit when I searched for 'Journeyman.'  I'd totally buy this if it came out on DVD.
