Wanted: release of Vince Edwards' tv series on dvd

Please release the Vince Edwards tv series titled MATT LINCOLN on dvd. This series was never given a chance in 1970 by ABC. They scheduled it at 7:30 opposite Flip Wilson and Jim Nabors. Of course, it missed its target audience and was cancelled after sixteen episodes. It was never aired in another timeslot. Matt Lincoln was a quality drama series that dealt with a psychiatrist who ran a walk-in clinic and a telephone hotline for mostly troubled college age students. It was in the best tradition of Mod Squad, Room 222, and East Side West Side. The definitive 1970's series. A real character driven drama. There were great scripts, and A list guest stars such as Patty Duke, Martin Sheen, Darren McGavin, Joan Van Ark, Peter Deuel. The late, great Vince Edwards has experienced resurgence in popularity. There is a tribute to him playing on youtube with over 11,000 hits. His Starmeter at the IMDB is up over 141%. Even Robert Pattinson, is up 100%....

The evidence is clear. The people miss seeing Vince Edwards in his tv series. Ben Casey is still not on dvd, though it can be found through private collectors. All the episode titles of Matt Lincoln are proper names. It addressed real mental health issues. The pilot film needs to be released also. It starred Vince Edwards and Kim Hunter, and is titled Dial Hot Line. It aired as an ABC tv movie of the week. The subject matter of Matt Lincoln is so popular in tv series today. There is a new show called Mental, also the HBO series titled In Treatment. Vince Edwards remains one of the most popular tv actors in history for his role as Ben Casey. He still has a tremendous fan base as evidenced by the IMDB, and youtube. Please release the sixteen episodes plus the pilot film and give the people what they want to see. We have waited so long. It will be worth the wait when we finally see it on dvd.

I would support a release of Matt Lincoln and its loose pilot, Dial Hot Line (Edwards' character had a different name in the movie). The score for each was composed by Oliver Nelson, whose work for Universal is finally getting released through Shout! (Ironside) and Time-Life (The Six Million Dollar Man). The show strikes me as a precursor to In Treatment. It's been many years so I can't remember too clearly. Several episodes were later re-edited into a TV Movie, not to be confused with the pilot.

And I'm sure someone will be happy to know that you haven't learned how to stop being very arrogant towards others.
