Please release The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Only lasted two seasons and Hope Lange won the Emmy award both years for this show. Hoping to see it again soon.
I would also LOVE to see The Ghost and Mrs. Muir released on DVD. The best way would have both seasons released as a set. This was my favorite show growing up and still consider it one of my top 3 shows. I alwas wanted to marry the Captain.
It's been FAR too long since we've had the chance to see this excellent series. Often it gets identified with the silliness of Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie - while the magical component IS there, this is far, far more! Excellent writing, superior acting (note Hope Lange's two Emmy awards) and a mere 50 episodes that the world needs to see again. Consider this another vote for a 2 season DVD set please!
MPI Home Video licensed it a few years ago to release it, but never did anything with it. Let's hope Shout Factory might consider it one of these days.
Just came to this site and wanted to add my two cents to the rest of you who are waiting and waiting for The Ghost and Mrs. Muir to be officially released on DVD.
What on earth are they waiting for? I have a "collectors' set," but I would LOVE an official, unedited, crisp and clear version of this wonderful show.
