Member since: 4/2/2007 | | Sonic The Hedgehog - audio synchronization | I have noticed that there seems to be a slight audio delay to these Sonic The Hedgehog cartoons. Did anyone else happen to notice a delay or audio synchronization problems? I tried the disc in a few players and the results are the same. It could be a disc mastering problem or problems with the source material. If I am the only one, I could be looking into things too hard. Anyone have any comments? |

I watched this show back durning the day and i have the recorded episodes when USA shown them, it has nothing to do with Shouts release, its how the show was since the day of airtime.

Member since: 1/20/2007 | | RE: Sonic The Hedgehog - audio synchronization | I have also watched this show and AoSTH where they were aired quite a while ago but I remember some episodes (not all) were slightly out of sync. I would say that these problems come from the original masters and more noticeable when put on DVD. There are a few errors from these masters that don't actually appear in other versions (I need to check that Harmonic Sonic glitch nintendolink007 aka knotholeexpress mentioned on mine). I know in Adventures of Sonic, there's a part that's glitched in Robo-Ninjas and I recorded this twice just to double check, so it is the masters.
There's nothing you can do about it. |

The Uk has the whole thing for the same price. I think I'll buy that one Instead Along with The Mario 3 DVD Set as well. these episodes should of been done By ink and Paint The same Company that Put Out He-Man and Ghostbusters at least the episodes are Digitally Remastered and Cleaned up no lines or specks. Unlike Zelda Mario and Captain N and other Shout Factory releases. These episodes should of been cleaned up they look worse than my VHS Copies.

Member since: 4/9/2007 | | RE: Sonic The Hedgehog - audio synchronization | | I am not a sonic toon fan other than SatAM(I had never seen it till i bought the dvd), but not of Adventures of or Sonic Underground, I was born in '81 so i was a teenager when that stuff was out, but whether it was by chance that Shout got in with DIC and Ink and Paint/BCI got in with Entertainment Rights who owned all those Filmation catalogs(He-man, She-ra, D&D, etc), at this point I highly doubt Ink and Paint would ever touch the Sonic catalogs, probally not the Mario, or Zelda either, and i mean that in no way offensive to Shout or to B Ward. But yeah i understand what your talking about the transfers and cleaning them up. |
