Yes, it was a good show.  I watched it faithfully back in the day.  They're re-airing it some on the CW network now.  But, indeed, it would make a good release.  I'd be skeptical as to whether Shout or anyone else could/would put it out though.  Doesn't seem like anyone wants to try to market old educational shows.

RE: Beakman's World

Fact: In some areas, such as the Greater Boston Area, Beakman's World airs on the local Fox Station! I'm Beakman, and you've just broken into Beakman's World!

Sorry, I just couldn't resist!

Beakman's World is a fun show until Bill Nye made science more fun with his _____________ of science machines

It would be sweet to see Beakman's World on DVD

I liked Beakman's World and found it better entertainment than Bill Nye, I never saw what was so great about him, he was probably more of an intellectual though.

Sony released a best of Beakman 3 years ago, something better is deserved.

Actually I've watched some DVDs of Bill Nye at my school. But I think the DVDs include one episode each sadly.

It would be great if Shout! Factory would release all four seasons on dvd. Sadly we lost Mark Ritts aka Lester the Rat in 2009, so if they did special features they would not be including him. I would love to see tons of behind the scenes footage and bloopers etc for the series. I know that Paul Zaloom aka Beakman has voiced interest in seeing the series get a proper release on DVD. I am sure he would do interviews etc for the sets.

Janhall do you know for a fact that Mill Creek will be releasing it on DVD? As much as I can't stand Mill Creek, I would rather Shout! release it. However if that is the only option I will gladly take it.

Sony Pictures, which owns the show, released a "best of" DVD in 2004. It's still in print. (I know you guys want season sets, but just wanted to point it out.)
