Anyone else looking for this one?
Do we want deluxe re-releases?
Or just Season Thrre, Part Two?

I will buy any and all JEM and the Holograms DVDs that are releases -- but we never got the last 20 episodes when the DVDs where available through Rhino.
It would be nice to see a Truly Outgragous! Movie Speical Edition and the Super Sunday/Super Saturday series put on DVD, so we can Jem in her Super Sunday glory too.

Shout! could get some very nice DVD extras from the Jem fan community now that the fans are so well organized.

Again Jem was before her time, the dolls karaoke tracks, were called instrumentals -- because Jem came out before karaoke became so popular. |

I'll take just Season three, part two, but even better would be the entire series in a giftset with commentary from Christy Marx and interviews with some of the incredible voice talent, animators, and even commentary from Hasbro employees on the marketing aspect of the series (since the primary purpose of the show was originally to sell toys). And, I'd just LOVE a bonus audio cd of all the music! And how about including some of the old commercials on the DVDs? I like the idea of a souvenir lunchbox for packaging, but ideally, there would be a souvenir doll too! |

Of course if is possible I really like to have the "french canadian" version of the Opening theme song and not the french version from France (I dont really like it, sorry  )!!

p.p.s: Yes if they release all the Jem episode, I rebuy the DVD, specially if the box set look really cool lol !! |

Really sorry to hear Jem was not part of the Hasbro deal. Can you enlighten us at to why/why not? Is there any chance SHOUT! would release Jem? Either extend their deal with Hasbro or something else?
There's thousands of Jem fans that would like to see the complete series released on dvd!

Transformers and G.I. Joe both have movies coming out So the DVDs, in a way, part of the movie merchandising. Even My Little Pony has to toy line currently; it sounds like some pony titles are in that contract too. But right now Jem does not have a toy line or a new movie coming out this summer – Hasbro is not in as big of a hurry to release Jem DVDs. But if Shout! is noticing an interest in Jem, then they could have a louder voice with Hasbro to get Jem released then Jem fans would alone.

I agree that it could be a big hit for folks, since it was never completed. But I can say that it's not something we have, at the moment. Maybe down the line. Or perhaps, Hasbro has other plans for Jem. Not quite sure.

Apparently, Hasbro's "other plans" for Jem would be sweeping her under the rug and pretending she never existed in the first place. Sounds like if we all REALLY want our beloved "Little Miss Pink Hair" back on a COMPLETE DVD set, we'll all have to start really bothering the Big H about it, as well. It would also be nice to have the CORRECT opening credits on the proper seasons, without forcing us to sit through the GOD-AWFUL "Jem Girls" theme song sooner than we had to!
As for packaging, I'd like to see something simple and sturdy, nothing fancy...something similar to the packaging Rhino used, where there's plenty of room for great artwork and holding bonus booklets and such. For the artwork itself, it would be GREAT to use all the fantastic art from the packaging of the original dolls and toys (this would also help really tie the series together with the toy line). Extras would include, of course, the requisite interview/commentary by Chirsty Marx, and interviews with some of the major voices of the series. Other nice touches would be all the "public service announcements" (maybe even put on the END of some of the episodes), and maybe even a slide-show of the ENTIRE toy line, finishing with the never released prototypes from the '88 line.

Joe from DiC?"). They should be planning to release other Sunbow cartoons of the 80's by now. I hope Jem will be one of them. But there's also My Little Pony 'n Friends, Visionaries, and Super Sunday. They should also release the Charmkins Special too. And there's also The Great Space Coaster. That show was from Sunbow too. |
