Member since: 7/9/2008 | | CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL | | Okay, Blossom ain't the real deal--it's Clarissa. I know alot of people who post here are loving the Blossom dvd; I was never a fan. But Clarissa Explains it All--there was a show that had wit and invention....the writers worked for the NATIONAL LAMPOON! She name checked Echo & The Bunnymen and They Might Be Giants! She went to see Nirvana! The show was a kidcom that knew it was a kidcom and played with it's silliness. Obviously, the company that put it out was disappointed in the sales, and didn't want to continue. This is the PERFECT Shout Factory show, if I may be so bold--hip, smart and retro, baby! |
