I am so very impressed that you are releasing a special edition DVD of Johnny Got His Gun. This film, and the book, both by blacklisted writer Dalton Trumbo, are LIFE CHANGING. He wrote an amazing anti-war story when it was VERY unpopular to be anti-war, and did so with intelligence, bravery, and articulate skill. This story altered the way I see the world, and I am so very glad that Shout! has the foresight to introduce this film to a whole new audience. And kudos on the Metallica video as a bonus feature! Very nice. Bravo, ladies and gentlemen of Shout! Bravo. |

We are incredibly proud of the Johnny Got His Gun DVD. The print is beautiful and the bonus features are top notch. Kudos to Brian Blum for a great release. I especially like those snazzy, and yet eerie menus!
