There is one thing that I do not understand the last season of Captain N not being on the upcoming DVD release, you said that it has something to do with Super Mario Bros. World, but I thought that when Captain N was placed in the syndication those episodes were inculded without the Super Mario Bros. episodes or any mention of them in the opening credits as well? Why couldn't the syndicated verions had been used for the DVD set, or is it considered a different show all together by DIC and Nintendo? |

I have read it and it shows lots of in depth of Shout and a bit of Captain N as well, even though on that question the interviewer I think meant to ask was about the 1st version of "How's Bayou?", not the second one that's on the set, but still great stuff. |

As for the third season issue, couldn't the Captain N portion of the Super Mario World shows be separated out and sold as its own unit? Eventually, of course, being followed by the Super Mario World series as well. I understand the argument of it being a separate show from the original 30-minute Captain N, but can't it be sold separately the way you all market The Legend of Zelda which was part of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show? Even though Tuesday's release (can't wait!) of Captain N is being called "The Complete Series," the final few episodes could be a kind of "Lost Episodes" package. Just a thought. The Shout Factory is a sort of historical preservation society to folks like me and I know you all want what's best for the artifacts.
