ABOUT
Los Angeles Police Sergeant “Pepper” Anderson (Angie Dickinson) is an undercover officer with the Criminal Conspiracy Unit, charged with the task of investigating all kinds of crimes, from sexual assault to narcotics and homicide. Led by Sgt. Bill Crowley (Earl Holliman) and joined by partners Pete Royster (Charles Dierkop) and Joe Styles (Ed Bernard), Anderson must go undercover to get dangerously close to the criminal underworld before taking it down!
The series ran for 4 seasons from 1974-1978 and was a large success for NBC that paved the way for shows with strong female leads such as Charlie’s Angels and The Bionic Woman.
