ABOUT
Loudon Wainwright III is a man of many talents which have spanned over 40 years of music, acting, and raising musical children of his own. After a series of odd jobs, Loudon’s first full-length album was released in 1970 at the age of 24, a self-titled effort that showcased his songwriting skills as well as his trademark ironic humor. Since then Loudon has recorded 21 more albums, received a Grammy for “Best Traditional Folk Album” and shows no signs of slowing down.
Also an actor, Loudon’s first role was a three episode arc on TV’s M*A*S*H as a singing surgeon. Since then he has appeared in over 10 films and had recurring roles in TV shows such as Undeclared and Parks and Recreation.
