ABOUT
Born in the early ‘80s and led by vocalist Johnette Napolitano, Concrete Blonde were a mainstay in the music scene of post-punk Los Angeles. The single “Joey” off their third album, Bloodletting, catapulted the band into the mainstream with a four-week run at #1 on the US Modern Rock charts. After taking a break from 1993 to 1997, the band reunited until their eventual demise in 2006. |
