Small Wonder is a science fiction sitcom that aired for 4 seasons from 1985 to 1989. The show follows the family of Ted Lawson, a robotics engineer, who creates a robot modeled after a real human girl. The robot, named V.I.C.I. or Voice Input Child Indenticant, has special capabilities such as superhuman strength and speed. V.I.C.I. soon becomes a part of the Lawson family as they try to keep her true identity a secret. Much of the show’s humor focuses on V.I.C.I.’s attempts to learn human behavior and her literal interpretation of human speech.
