The Patty Duke Show, a sitcom which ran for three seasons, was created for rising star Patty Duke, who had just won her first Academy Award for her role in The Miracle Worker.
The show is based around a teen-aged daughter of a globe-trotting journalist, who decides she wants to live with her uncle in New York City. Curiously, the young girl turns into a spitting image of her uncle’s daughter, Patty. However, appearances aside, the urbane Cathy is nothing like her cousin Patty, who is the typical American teenager. Both roles are played by Patty Duke.
The series’ 104 episodes ran on ABC from September 18, 1963 until May 4, 1966, and reruns occurred on Nick at Nite from 1988 until 1992.
For centuries across the universe, Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and the Autobots have battled their greatest foes, Megatron (Frank Welker) and his army of Decepticons. But on Earth they face a new threat — discovery by the human race.
