What began in the mid ‘90s, with roots in the Hot Jazz era and Americana music, continues to unfold into the eclectic sound of The Hot Club of Cowtown. 

More than a decade after forming, Elana James, Whit Smith, and Jake Erwin have grown from the hopeful days of playing for tips in the parks of San Francisco into the most globe-trotting Western Swing trio on the planet. With five critically-acclaimed albums in circulation around the world and number six debuting in the fall of ’08, Cowtown continue to prove themselves a fan-favorite.

They’ve been featured on numerous popular television and radio programs, including The Grand ‘Ol Opry and A Prairie Home Companion. Now, after a two-year hiatus, the group that is counted among the youngest ever to be inducted into the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame, deservingly adds tours with music legends Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson to the lineup.  

With all that and more in sight for the future, The Hot Club of Cowtown is bound to reunite with old fans and dazzle new audiences all over the world.
