Georgia-born Chris Hicks plays guitar with distinctive elements of Southern rock and the blues. His notable inspirations include Otis Redding and James Brown. Hicls got his start playing in bands such as the Experience and the Outlaws before becoming lead guitarist for the Marshall Tucker Band, Gregg Allman, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
