ABOUT
The Tomorrow Show With Tom Snyder began in October 1973 in the late-night time slot following Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show and continued in one form or another until January 1982. Some of Synder's notable guests during that decade long run include John Lennon, U2, Timothy Leary, Ayn Rand and The Clash. Snyder's interview style, which ranged from hokey to serious to seriously clueless is fondly remembered by insomniacs from the '70s and early '80s. Snyder would return to late night from 1995-1999 on CBS's Late Late Show, ironically following David Letterman, whose Late Night had replaced The Tomorrow Show back in the early '80s. |
